Reviewing owner documentation against multiple external databases as part of investment analysis was a manual, time-intensive process — often taking roughly a week per portfolio. Much of the relevant information was embedded in dense legal and financial narrative alongside visual content like maps and site plans, making it difficult to process efficiently at scale.

Brookfield partnered with Proxet to build an agentic workflow on the Claude Agent SDK that helps analysts process complex documents, including narrative text and visual content such as maps and topography. Every output is validated by human analysts against historical data before it’s used, as part of ongoing quality review. Using the multimodal capabilities of Claude Sonnet, the system helps locate, extract, and organize relevant source material for analyst review — with every output traceable back to its source for verification.
