Proxet delivered a fully functional SaaS module, giving confidence to migrate additional products to the cloud.
Platform Expansion & Product Ownership (Allocator and Municipal)
For the Allocator product, Proxet took full ownership of development. The application architecture was designed collaboratively by the Proxet and TriTech teams, after which Proxet implemented complete functionality for 10 states and integrated Allocator with Municipal. The team also worked hand-in-hand with a designer to deliver a modern, intuitive UI/UX.
For the Municipal product, Proxet collaborated with TriTech’s engineers to develop functionality supporting 10 states. The team also delivered substantial performance optimizations for return calculation, dramatically speeding up the preparation of municipal premium tax returns.
Outcome
TriTech is actively transitioning its key premium tax products from legacy desktop systems to modern, cloud-native applications. Many clients are already experiencing the benefits of the new platform, while others continue to operate on the desktop version during the phased rollout.
The eFx pilot proved the viability of a secure, scalable SaaS model and set the stage for expanding to Allocator and Municipal. In Municipal, the return calculations are now significantly faster, and Allocator has achieved major performance gains in processing large datasets.
The updated platforms deliver improved responsiveness during peak tax periods, an enhanced user experience, and a foundation for ongoing SaaS growth.
